The FPA is made up solely of volunteers from your neighbors and friends in the Forestville area. Anyone who lives in the 95436 zip code is a member of the FPA! We welcome your participation, energy, and enthusiasm at any level:
- Come to Town Meetings
- Join one of our Committees:
- The Downtown Planning Committee
Planning for the aesthetic, community-friendly, and economic development of downtown Forestville
- The Green Valley Creek Project Committee
Guiding local efforts under a Federal grant to restore Green Valley Creek
- The Issues Committee
Covering a variety of area concerns including quarry growth, the proposed 116 Bypass, Burbank Housing, etc.
- The Communications Committee
Advertising Town Meetings, interfacing with newspapers, email action alerts, the FPA website, hosting info tables, generally getting the word out
- The Board of Directors
Overall tracking of local issues, planning Town Meetings, helping identify the needs of the community
- Help out on an as needed basis to set up/clean up for Town Meetings, put up meeting notices around Town, write articles on local issues for the Gazette, contribute a unique talent, come up with new ideas.
