The Town Hall Meeting will provide updates on local projects and planning issues, as well as furnish information on locally available sustainability/energy efficiency programs and tips:

• Amy Bolten, Public Information Officer with the Sonoma County Water Agency, will speak about the Sonoma County’s Energy Independence Program for property owners to finance energy efficiency, water efficiency and renewable energy improvements through a voluntary assessment.
• Erin Matthewson of Sonoma County Conservation Actions Know Your Neighbor will speak about local conservation activities, including those within the Forestville (Know Your Neighbor) group.
• Jane Elias, an Energy Efficiency Consultant with a local company, Generational Energy, will speak about energy efficiency. Jane performs Home & Business Energy Audits, is a Certified HERS rater, and can also do site analysis for solar (PV) systems and solar thermal systems.
• Forestville Architect, FPA board member, and gardener Ken Smith will speak and provide information on getting started on how to create (grow/raise) food in your own (or neighbor's) back yard.
• Supervisor Efren Carrillo will provide information and updates on local issues/projects, such as the roundabout, the bypass, etc., and to answer your questions. The FPA will also provide other updates, such as the current status of Forestville Community Fund.
