I’d love a Farmers’ Market in Forestville. One was tried a few years ago — all licensed and supervised — even had a porta-potty.
I still wonder why people didn’t come and buy there. There was fresh produce, local arts, and even a barbeque. But the turnout was terrible.
Do most of us really not want one here? Unfortunately, the woman who organized it did not have a good relationship with the Chamber of Commerce and local businesses.

I think a co-op or trade market could work well. I would love to see it and support it.

I would be interested in talking with someone about getting this going. or something similar like even just a monthly gathering to help bring the people of Forestville out and about and gathering in a fun way.

I would love to have a Farmer's Market right here in Forestville. Perhaps the Chamber and other entities could help advertise it. I would guess it could take a while to catch on. In order to succeed, it would have to attract folks from all over -- west of Forestville and people from Sebastopol. I think it would be best to not have it on the same days as Sebastopol to not have direct competition. and, perhaps the people running the one in Sebastopol could be consulted.
