1) Unanimous approval of minutes of last meeting, 5/5/08, as previously approved by email.

3) Plans for Town Meeting: supervisor candidates’ forum
- To be held Tuesday, 7-9, 9/16/08, at Oddfellows’ Hall in Forestville (Covey and 116).
- Richard will chair meeting; first half hour for outgoing Supervisor, Mike Reilly, to report on the challenges he sees coming to Forestville; rest of the evening for forum of Efren Carillo and Rue Furch who are running for the seat of County Supervisor for the 5th district.
- Format of candidates’ forum: Peter will do brief introduction of each candidate; each then will have up to two minutes to make opening statement; Richard and Peter then will gather the questions and concerns of the audience and list them on a large chart board; the candidates then will be asked to address each item on the list; questions/comments by audience participants to be limited to 2-3 minutes; candidates responses may be limited in time depending on the number of issues to be covered.
- Thanks to Max for arranging for Mike, Rue, and Efren to come.
- Unanimous approval of proposal to send thank you letter to the Oddfellows’ Lodge for donating the use of their hall for Town Meetings; it is a significant contribution to the community; Richard will write on behalf of the Board.
4) Celebration of the very successful Forestville Town Social and Business Expo, Thursday 8/21
- The FPA started the Town Social four years ago; last year, we invited the Chamber of Commerce to join us and expand the event; and this year the Chamber ran with the ball; it was a very successful event.
- Thanks especially to Lucy Barnett Hardcastle, Max, Elizabeth, and Richard for staffing the FPA booth.
