FPA Board Minutes - September 8, 2004 The board meets once a month at different locations and times. Please check the calendar to see the dates or contact Board Chair for more information. Location: The Naegle’s house Attending: Anne Greenblatt (recording), Elizabeth Naegle, Richard Naegle, David Carpenter, and Mickey Fernandez Minutes of the previous meeting approved. Governance Committee Richard reported that we have received from the state a certified copy of our amendments to the articles of incorporation. Downtown Planning Committee David proposed that an amendment to the County General Plan, for Forestville Parks and Recreation Plan, include adding a wild area from Solak Park to the bike trail termination point, including the proposed town green and town square. David pointed out that there is now a window in time when amendments to the General Plan can be proposed. After discussion, the motion that the FPA Board endorse this proposal was made, seconded, and passed. The Town Meeting on plans for the downtown and the town square has been re-scheduled for Sat., November 13, at 10:00 AM, in the Odd Fellow's Hall. It has been postponed from the Oct. date, as the Downtown Planning Committee needs more time to develop content for the meeting, which will focus on educating the community on the developers’ plans as they are shaping up, and getting community input on the design of the town square.
