Richard Naegle, President
Having lived in Forestville for four years, I continue to love its beauty and diversity… both in nature and in people. I would like to help maintainand further the quality of life and sense of community that we share even in the midst of inevitable change.

Professionally, I am a psychotherapist and educator who has served on the board of directors of the Guild for Psychological Studies in S.F., The Redwood Men’s Center in Santa Rosa, and the interim FPA. I am a husband, father, and grandfather whose current passions include singing, poetry, playing the piano, and exploring mythology.

Joan Riback, Past President
I bring my MA in Organization Development and accumulating consulting experience in community development to leading Forestville residents towards community determination of our town’s future.

As Founder of the FPA, and current President, I embrace the challenges of building a strong, charming and prospering community while maintaining a significant quality of life.

Elizabeth Naegle, Treasurer
I am a Registered Nurse at the Sonoma County Indian Health Clinic and am interested in quality of life health care for mind, body, and spirit. I am also an advocate for quality of life issues in Forestville — community dialogue and fun, clean air, clean water, support for our youth, and support for our businesses in Forestville.

Anne Greenblatt, Secretary
I’ve loved the Russian River for 30 years, and value the small town character of Forestville. I’m a career counselor at Sonoma State, and was an environmental educator/nonprofit director.

After serving on the FPA interim board,as well as the board of the Wellspring Renewal Center, I’m looking forward to continuing this work. I bring a passion for environmental quality, low-density affordable housing, and a downtown that nurtures local businesses and a strong sense of community.

Peter Renfro, Member
I am a recent arrival in Forestville and I love living in this community. I moved here in the summer of 2003 and live in town, where I also have my business. I have previously lived in growing communities in Southern California, Texas, and Wisconsin and have seen what uncontrolled growth can do to a community that isn’t involved in planning its future, so I decided to get involved!

I am a mortgage broker by trade. Two of my 3 teenage daughters live with me part-time and attend El Molino High School. My eldest daughter is a student at Long Beach State University. I’d love to hear from you!
