Alerts — Crinella Property Permit Application

Thurs., March 15, 2007 — 1:05 pm at the:
PRMD Hearing Room, 2550 Ventura Avenue, Santa Rosa
The Sonoma County Permit and Resource Management Department will conduct a public hearing regarding a Crinella property proposal on March 15 at 1:05 pm in the PRMD hearing room, 2550 Ventura Avenue, Santa Rosa.

The current proposal is a Mitigated Negative Declaration to create “a major subdivision of 62 acres creating 11 lots ranging in size from 1.22 to 40 acres...” Note: this proposal is separate from the commercial/residential proposal that has yet to be made regarding the approximately seven acres around a Town Square. The land affected by this current proposal is the acreage behind the Town Square area and which parallels the Radota Trail.

Ramona Crinella’s description: “The revised plan... contains 7 residential building lots and 1 agricultural parcel of 5.47 acres. A 44.89 planted vineyard parcel surrounds the smaller parcels. A hillside lavender easement has been placed on the hillside at the request of the Forestville Community to create a focal point. Visual buffers have been located throughout the project in appropriate places...”

The Board of Supervisors’ Resolution, dated 9/25/90, zones this property at approximately the proposed level. However, the current proposal envisions shifting some density to the future Town Square project.

The County Board of Supervisors eventually will hold a public hearing on this matter. If you challenge the decision on the project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues previously raised before the Planning Commission at the hearing or in written form delivered to the Planning Commission prior to the hearing.

Prior to the hearing, the project details and environmental documents may be reviewed at, or written comments submitted to the Permit and Resource Management Department, at 2550 Ventura Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95403. Contact Sigrid Swedenborg at 707-565-1914.
