Inspired by a deep appreciation for our town’s beautiful semi-rural location, our active and engaged community citizens, our good schools and valued local businesses, the local founders and board members of the Forestville Planning Association (a California 501c3 nonprofit organization) are committed to being of service as our community navigates the inevitable forces of change that face a small town in an unincorporated area of the county.
Our goal is to make a positive contribution to our town, encouraging activities that:
The mission of the Forestville Planning Association is to:
Forestville is a family-oriented, semi-rural small town. Economically and culturally diverse, our caring citizens value our natural environment, clean air and water and seeing the stars at night.
We treasure our small town atmosphere, our Youth Park, the West County Trail, our excellent schools, and the small businesses that serve our community.
Since 2002, the FPA has grown from a small group of residents concerned about Forestville’s future to a respected 501-c-3 grass roots organization.
Dedication, countless hours, and diverse skills and talents have contributed to making FPA widely recognized as a proactive advocate for the community, a valuable source of information and a forum for exchange of diverse ideas and opinions.
Ongoing and ad hoc committees are composed of community volunteers, like you. Please join us.
