FPA Town Meeting 2005Town meetings occur 2-3 times a year. These are to update the community on issues affecting the town and/or developments planned for Forestville. The meetings also provide a forum for dialogue and communication among Forestville citizens.

A special guest, our new 5th District Supervisor Lynda Hopkins, fielded questions for over an hour. Community news and announcements rounded out the afternoon. Continue to read the details. 

• Report: May 3, 2015 Town Meeting

About sixty-five people took two hours on a beautiful spring afternoon to attended the Forestville Town Meeting on May 3 to review site plan designs suggested by the Town Square Planning Group (TSPG) for the new Town Square and Open Space Park and to hear a report from Supervisor Carrillo.

• Report: April 6, 2014 Town Meeting

Over 60 people attended the Town Meeting on April 6 to review 4 concepts of the Downtown Square & Park suggested by the Town Square Planning Group (TSPG).

Each of the 4 concepts attempted to incorporate the priorities of use and facilities that had been identified at the February Town Meeting.

• Report: February 9, 2014 Town Hall Meeting

About 70 of your neighbors attended a Town Meeting on Sunday, 2/9, hosted by the Forestville Planning Association. The purpose of the meeting was to celebrate the Town’s acquisition of property for a long-desired Town Square and open space park that would allow the West County trail to connect directly with Forestville.

Topic: Purchase of the Downtown Open Space Park.

• April 19, 2009 Town Hall Meeting

Over 50 people attended the Town Meeting on April 19. First we brainstormed in small groups about the visions we have for Forestville in the next couple of years. The results were gathered and can be seen at Town Meeting Notes 4-09.

• November 2008 Town Hall Meeting

Report from outgoing County Supervisor Mike Reilly.

Candidates’ forum for retiring county Supervisor Mike Reilly.

• September 16, 2008 Town Hall Meeting

Sponsored a forum for candidates to speak and answer questions: for retiring county Supervisor Mike Reilly’s seat. The candidates were Rue Furch and Efren Carillo.

• January 16, 2008 Town Hall Meeting

Met with consultants Laura Hall and Robert Alminana to review the design of the proposed development of the Crinella property. Town Square Design Review.

• October 28, 2007 Town Hall Meeting

Roundabout Discussion: The County had proposed a 4 way traffic signal at Mirabel and 116 because of increased traffic.

• May 2007 Town Hall Meeting

Co-sponsored  with Chamber of Commerce a “Voice Your Opinion” meeting re: Theissen’s development plans. A lively and diverse discussion was held.

• October 2006 Town Hall Meeting

Our county supervisor Mike Reilly updated us on the proposed bypass, as well as other county issues.

• February 2006 Town Hall Meeting

Topic:  Presentation by Orrin Thiessen about his plan to develop the Crinella property.
