1. Discussion:
   A vote was taken to approve the Community Fund Recommendations to:

   • Provide $5,000 to the Senior Dining Site for Forestville Seniors
   • $2,300 to Green Valley Creek restoration project, recommending Larry work with the local schools to utilize their equipment for educational purposes.
   • $1,200 to the JD Kawai Beautification Project for trash pick up downtown with the recommendation the volunteers of that project collect "matching" donations from downtown merchants for the 2012 funding cycle.
   • $500 for research on a drinking fountain for downtown Forestville.

   5 voted yes with no dissensions.

2. A vote was taken to allocate up to $1,000 to purchase FPA and Fund Committee visual display materials to better educate the public about projects funded as well as other community issues. The Board voted to allocate those funds and Robert and Ken will do the research.

3. A recommendation was made to have a "no host" gathering of the Board and Fund Committee members at Sarah's Kitchen or perhaps as Robert's or Lucy's residence prior to August 1st.

4. Discussion was had about the Town Social and Expo for August. Some townspeople were disappointed with the turnout and wondered about continuing the tradition. Max will discuss the possibilities of partnering with the Chamber on this event at the next Chamber meeting. It is possible with a foreclosure on the property where the event took place, that an alternative site would need to be found.

5. Meeting was adjourned after some discussion on the future of the Orin Thiessen site.
