Roundabout Design Committee
The Food Bank is fine with letting the Committee meet in their conference room. Ken Smith is taking a lead role in coordination and serving as liaison to Sonoma County Public Works staff member, Kevin Howze. Kevin would also be glad to meet with the Committee if appropriate. Max will put an invitation in the Gazette and Sonoma West newspapers to invite community members who want to be involved.
New FPA website
It will go live in about 2 – 3 weeks! Again, thanks to Janet Zagoria, Richard and Elizabeth Naegle for all their work on it.
To elicit feedback on visions for Forestville’s future from the broader community, Robert suggested setting up a table at a downtown location, with an exhibit on the FPA and suggestion box for ideas and feedback from community members, to be read at the next Town Meeting in March. He would be happy to be at a table like this. Lucy suggested, in addition, actively soliciting visions on Forestville’s future from community leaders.
Plans for March Town Meeting
Re-visit community members’ visions for Forestville’s future and updating goals for the FPA. It is important to focus on this again as a community, especially in view of the new funds being contributed to the town by Canyon Rock Quarry, in addition to funds being contributed by Bodean Quarry. On visioning, the board discussed doing some of its own visioning first. Meeting has been advertised in Gazette for Sunday, March 20 from 4-6pm. Richard has already contacted Oddfellows.
Provisional plan:
Respectfully submitted by Anne Greenblatt, FPA Board Secretary.
